• Light Stalkers - international resources for active travelers with an emphasis on working photographers; messages boards; RSS feed; great site for interaction with working professionals.  "Lightstalkers is a network of unconventional travelers. The core of our membership is made up of photographers, but we count journalists, aid workers, military and security professionals, and information techs among our community as well. We also have an extended crew of editors, agents, friends and family, and the odd people we meet at airports and rest stops, people who wonder where we are and what we’re doing out there."

• Editorial Photographers - resources for editorial (and other) photographers; includes good information covering copyright basics and the photography business; membership includes enhanced access to site resources; good community covering business issues and concerns (including pricing of stock images)

• North American Nature Photography Association - "NANPA promotes the art and science of nature photography as a medium of communication for nature appreciation and environmental protection." 

• Adobe Studio Exchange - new downloads for:  actions, plug-ins, extensions, tutorials, and other helper files that allow you to easily add new features to Adobe products.

• Adobe Resources fro Professional Photographers  and Adobe digital photography white papers and primers - download the latest demo software, new tools, BETA software, and reviews news and tutorials for photographers needing or wanting professional results from digital imaging processes.

• PhotoShopNews.com - one stop site for all the news about Adobe Photoshop and related products.

• PhotoLinks - The Photography Network - large resource of photo-related web sites.

• FreelanceDesigners.com - locate photographers and graphic designers online.

• National Parks Conservation Association - Our Mission: To protect and enhance America's National Parks for present and future generations.

• Reading List - suggested reading/resource books with mini-reviews by photographer Dale Reagan.

• Photoshelter - videos for the photography business (9/2007) - some excellent discussions about stock, advertising or other photography business today.  Note that (at this time) I am not a Photoshelter user - I found this information to be quite relevant and useful.

• A Photo Editor - blog of a previously anonymous photo editor with comments that may be useful for photographers working (or hoping to work) with photo editors.

• Digital Technology Group - Tampa, FL (USA) - accepts online orders for ink jet printers, supplies and digital photo papers (as well as many other products) - great service! - customer feedback in action.   :)

Resources for Savannah, Ga USA

• Sentient Bean - a unique Savannah experience - "The Sentient Bean coffee house features a 21 by 42 foot performance space with seating for up to 100 people. The Bean presents an eclectic array of events from ultra Indie movies & cult films, to nationally acclaimed acoustic bands & solo acts, to poetry and literary readings, to educational and community forums. During shows, the coffee house offers light meals, fresh baked goods and dessert, as well as coffee, tea, and smoothies."

• When visiting Savannah, make sure to drop by the Kobo Gallery located at 33 Barnard Street (downtown, near City Market - phone:  912.201.0304.)   The Kobo Gallery features a variety of works by local artists including creative wood work, custom jewelry and photographs.  (Make sure to let them know that I sent you!)

• Internet Crime Complaint Center (USA) "IC3's mission is to serve as a vehicle to receive, develop, and refer criminal complaints regarding the rapidly expanding arena of cyber crime. The IC3 gives the victims of cyber crime a convenient and easy-to-use reporting mechanism that alerts authorities of suspected criminal or civil violations."
