Photograph Savannah: A multi-year project
Photos, Pictures, Cityscapes, Landscapes of or near
Savannah, Georgia, USA
Savannah is a beautiful city with
historic buildings and homes, wonderful parks and squares (half acre in size to
several blocks in length) , a scenic riverfront (great dining and shopping), an
evolving nightlife, and a very busy tourist industry. The images on the
web pages below are an attempt to share some of our city's charm, warmth and
beauty - enjoy! (and don't forget to order a print or three!)
The image galleries present a virtual picture tour of Savannah and the surrounding the
area - please use the contact form below if you have questions about the images
or if you have problems using the web site. A small sample of my
photographs of the Savannah area are currently
available from my online print vendor - select and order online - your
prints will arrive as quickly as possible. There are two galleries to
choose from: 1) Portraits of Savannah and 2) Tibetan Sand Mandala.
I have also recently added some Photo Stamps (real
USPS stamps for those notes needing a special touch...) More Photo
Stamps are located here.
Web Images were generated from scaled originals (reduced
from several MB to a few hundred KB)
Images may be cropped or include other creative
adjustments. Most of these galleries require the Flash plug-in and a
high speed (cable or

The
Vietnam Veterans Memorial stands as a symbol of America's honor and
recognition of the men and women who served and sacrificed their lives in
the Vietnam War. Inscribed on the black granite walls are the names of more
than 58,000 men and women who gave their lives or remain missing. Yet the
Memorial itself is dedicated to honor the "courage, sacrifice and
devotion to duty and country" of all who answered the call to serve
during the longest war in U.S. history. [quote from the Vietnam Memorial
Fund web site]
