Quotes for Professional Conventions typically include:

- daily photography of meetings and social gatherings

- special event coverage (i.e. pre, post or other golfing/fishing/outdoor activities)

- an end of conference slideshow (usually covering all activities up to a few hours prior to the slideshow presentation)

- post event delivery of color corrected images on disk ready for your internal publishing uses

- option of online print ordering for group members

Notes for Music Festival/Event Photography

• A musical event should not become a photo event -  the audience should not notice me or my gear.

• I will work with the existing light to create the best images possible, however there are technical limitations which can only be overcome by adequate venue lighting.  Consider adding some side lighting if the venue is dark.

• I typically use a tripod for low-light venues so space should be considered.

Classical Music Festival/Concert Photography

• These are typically un-amplified events so additional planning/thought is needed to avoid adding extraneous sound/movement to the event.

• Since I am also a classically trained musician I will either already be familiar with the works being performed or I can research them to ascertain moments that might be suitable for image capture;  As a paying audience member one of the last things I want to hear is the clicking of a loud DSLR camera during a quite moment in the Bach Chaccone in a small venue...  

• I will work with you to devise a plan to cover your event with the least amount of distraction that is possible for the venue and image capture conditions.  

• I strongly encourage pre or post-concert photos (especially for soloists when they are 'warming up'.)  When this approach is taken the audience and artist will appreciate it; you will get the photo documentation that you need without introducing non-musical disturbances to the performance.

There are many fine photographers in Savannah and the surrounding area so I encourage clients to visit web sites and to chat with several before making a decision.

 

All images are created with digital cameras.  Event photographs can be available for review within hours of your photo session (for larger events it will usually be 5-7 days but this can be rushed on request) and prints can usually be delivered (from the print vendor) within a few days after you make your selections and place your online order. 

 

Printed proof-books, PDF slide show files, Flash galleries and ready-for-web images are also available.  Other options include  using a local photo print vendor as well having custom prints made by the photographer.  Please use the contact link below if you have any questions.
