Photograph Re-touching service information points:

• the service is only offered for images where you hold the copyright, i.e. you created the image(s) or you own the copyright to the image(s), OR

• you have a license to use the image(s) from the photographer who created  the image(s), OR

• for images that I have taken that you wish to use in a specific manner (i.e. you license the image from me.)  Note that re-touching services are NOT included with licensing fees.

What types of digital photography adjustments are available or possible?

• restore and old photograph (i.e. create a digital capture of a print and then 'fix' the color or remove scratches, dust, etc.) 

• make a new photograph look old

• adjust the image with a custom color scheme (i.e. you need an image to match the wall, room, floor, etc.)

• sharpen an image (there are limits based on the original quality/size of image as well as the desired level of 'sharpness')

• combine two (or more) images to create something new (i.e. a collage or montage)

• combine two (or more) images to create a new image containing the 'best' rendition of each subject in the image

• convert a color image to black and white image or to a grayscale image

• convert a black and white image to a color image

• convert a photo (color or black and white) to a sepia tone photo

• change the colors of an entire photo or a specific portion of a photo

• remove background or distracting aspects from a photo

• add new items to photograph

• enlarge or shrink a photograph

• panorama stitching (combine a series of photographs of the same subject matter but covering a larger viewing area than a single image)

• and more...

Some things to keep in mind about re-touching photographs:

• the quality of the original image file or printed photograph does matter; in general the 'size' of the image you have will be the size of the re-touched image

• if the quality of the final image matters then there are limits to what can be done - if possible creating a new image may be a better approach (and perhaps even cost less since re-touching services are billed by the hour...)

• please do NOT send any printed photographs or files without first contacting me

• digital images must be supplied in an approved file format and file size
