Photography Session Rates & Packages

How much does a wedding/family/vacation photographer cost? charge?

In general, the costs reflect the level of service that you are interested in as well as the types of print products or digital photo products you are interested in.  Also, photographers provide many different options regarding prints and file downloads or files on disks.  As you review photographers offerings I think that you will find that the offerings are similar and the prices are competitive.  I do offer educational/military/public-service discounts so make sure to ask about them; I also have periodic special promotions for print orders - so make sure to ask about those as well.   Note that before your session is confirmed I will provide an email outlining what is included for your session; you simply review and confirm (or request tweaks) and we are ready to go.

 

  Current photo sessions costs may include any or all of the following:

1. an hourly rate, creative fee or 'sitting' fee

2. costs of prints or photo print products

3. costs for image files

4. travel costs (for location photo sessions)

5. assistant or other fees (for a large group, event or special need/request)

6. image license fees (i.e. a license for personal print use, or a license for commercial image use in electronic or print media)

7. discounts and special offers may also affect the price

Basic Photography Session Package

1. location photo session - I meet you at your location of choice (vacation at the beach, a favorite location  in historic Savannah, elsewhere along the coast)

2. session length and rates - session fees start at $100 and reflect location, number of persons in your group, type of event (family portraits, wedding, engagement photos, etc.)

3. based on your preferences your images will be edited for color, exposure, cropping

4. convenient, simple, reasonably priced, on-line ordering of prints (new print products for 2011: http://prints.DaleReagan.com/)

Enhanced Package

1. includes all items from Basic package plus

2. download a set of images sized for printing - you can make un-limited prints (for personal, non-commercial use) at your print vendor of choice or on your own color printer

3. download a set of images sized for use on your phone and personal web site(s)

Custom Package (weddings, other family events, conferences, etc.)

A custom package will be tailored to your requirements/requests, i.e.:

1. extended event photo coverage (several hours, days or spread over some period of time)

2. electronic video-slide shows

3. wedding (or other) photo albums and photo books

4. custom PDF slide shows

5. custom web sites

6. other special requests - let's talk!

 

Special Location & Event Photography

1. Surprise proposal and/or engagement photos at your special location in coastal Georgia or coastal South Carolina.

2. Elopement ceremonies in one of Savannah's historic parks or buildings, or at the beach on Tybee Island, Ga.

3. Honeymoon photos in historic down town Savannah or at the beach on Tybee Island, Ga.
