Your wedding is one of those very special milestone events that notes all of our lives. The information below is at best, a starting point for things to consider when planning photography coverage for your event. I encourage you to be selective otherwise your wedding could become a photo-shoot memory instead of a wonderful family memory... :)
Bride alone (at the alter, gazing thoughtfully out a window)
Bride's mother arranging bride's veil
Bride pinning corsage on her mother
Bride and Bridesmaids getting ready
Bride and maid of honor
Bride fixing her father's tie or pinning his boutonniere on lapel
Bride with parents and other family members
Groom alone
Groom and his father shaking hands
Groom and his parents
Groom and his groomsmen
Groom and his best man
Groom's parents
Groom with other family members
I encourage you make a list of must have images for your event - make sure to let your photographer has this list before your event! Consider taking some of these formal type images just before your wedding; many couples combine image sessions and include time before and after the ceremony for select sets of images. This approach can reduce the time that your reception guests must wait for you (and they always appreciate it!) For example, at the wedding venue:
Portraits of bride, bride's maids, bride and family members
Portraits of groom, groomsmen, groom and family members
Portraits of entire wedding party
Portraits of the newly created, extended family (several large groups or any combination)
