New: Images from the 2008 Appalachian Guitar Festival (Savannah Classical Guitar web site.)

A selection of photo-prints from the 2006 Guitar Foundation of America (GFA) festival (held in Columbus, Georgia, USA in October of 2006)  are now available for purchase (current images include:  concert performers, awards ceremony, competition finals and vendor area images.)  I have found that previewing the 'download file' option provides the best way (for me) to review an image.

Note: These images may not be used for commercial purposes unless/until you obtain model/property releases in addition to a commercial license from the photographer for use of the image.  

Some of the images created during the 2006 festival are included the fall edition of Soundboard (Volume XXXIII. Nos. 1-2. 2007.)  The 2006 Festival article (and photos) begin on page 92; pages 100 - 101 include some of the photographs from my cameras.

It was great to meet many of you during the 2006 GFA Festival - it was a super event with some stunning performances and instruments (no, I did not get to bring a new guitar home...)

Casual photos from previous guitar festivals/events are online here including: Appalachian Guitarfest 2004 and 2005; Columbus Guitar Festival 2004;  Guitar Foundation of America Festivals - GFA Festival 1999 (Charleston), GFA Festival 2002 (Miami), and GFA Festival 2004 (Montreal.)  Almost all of these images were taken with low resolution (i.e. 1.0 mega-pixel or less digital cameras OR scanned/captured from video, hence the image quality varies significantly- my current gear includes 8 and 10 mega-pixel capabilities - the newer camera and images are simply amazing.)
